  1. Hi folks,
    Pokey here,

The Warriors wanted us to start this thread subject as we have this wonderful film about our beloved Legend to look forward to:

So, as of today, March 16, 2010, we are at T-Minus 58 days and counting (assuming that May 14, 2010 IS the actual release date.)

Anyone wanting to comment on the links to the film, the production, or any and all news about the film:

    here's your thread!

There's a similar post on our old RH BBCA forum and one at the yuku site as well.

  7. Hi folks,

FYI: The recent Oprah Winfrey show featured an interview with Russell Crowe discussing "Robin Hood". It was short and sweet, but good, and full of good photo stills from the film.

We are now at T-Minus 3 weeks and 3 days, (or 24 days) until "Robin Hood: The Film" is upon us.

    (Almost there folks!)

  8. Hi folks,

Aren't those trailers are getting more frequent,

    AND,

    better and better?

Folks, THIS one's gonna be good. (Watch VERY carefully for BBCA's reaction AND how it tunes into the money this flick makes.)

We are now at T-Minus 3 weeks, and ONE day, (or 22 days, less than 1 month) away from "the hero behind The Legend".

It will be SO good to be back in Sherwood, (or Surrey, and Wales), but what the heck; no one knows for certain if Robin and Marian and The Gang actually hung out there or not. BUT,
what MATTERS is that we HAVE The Legend still to this day, and it is perhaps beloved the more today than in the past.

  11. It does look pretty good from the ads. They sure are giving it a full effort in advertising.

  12. Hello one and all,

    Well we are finally here!!

Today is zero hour on our Robin Hood Calendar of events.

Regardless of the reviews (which look pretty promising I might add!),

    the most important thing is that The Legend is now getting INTERNATIONAL attention. This not only helps (and gladens the heart of) every lover of The Legend;

    BUT,

for those of us who have followed the latest television version of the life of this legendary outlaw, we just might be witness to the "re-birth" of this particular effort. If this film does well, (as it bodes to do just that), SOMEONE over at good old BBCA is going to be taking a hard look at just how THEY can make some profit off of Sir Ridley's latest cinematic endeavor.

    Long Live The Legend!

  14. OH Yes,

    Wouldn't it?

(Or better yet, how about picking the story up from where is actually began.....and this time we find out just WHO the Real Robin Hood was supposed to be all along?)

    Pokeygirl
They can no longer claim there is not enough public interest now can they?
